Current Activites: After a brief stint in New Orleans, I'm now back in the DC area working in marketing for the Discovery Channel. Everyone here has a TV on their desk (with HBO!) and we're encouraged to watch all day. It's the perfect job for me. I'm currently living as the adopted daughter to the Waldrops in their fancy Woodley Park apartment. Just like it was back in Lindsey's village, the fridge is always full of beer and we have a comfy couch for any visitors. And Lindsey does a great rooster impersonation at 4am to bring back good old memories...

Current Activites: After a short stint in Boston, I have been living in Melbourne now for three years. I've been working as an Environmental Engineer, mainly remediating contaminated sites - lots of fun battles with crusty old Aussie renegade cowboys. I got married to Duncan a few years ago on a cliff overlooking the Pacific. I'm currently attempting to survive the Footy season and hold on for summer!
Picture: My rowing friends and I at the Pink Ribbon Cup in April. I didn't see a single horse all-day, didn't even make it outside. I did drink a lot of champagne out of a plastic glass, though.
Political: Please help all of us who live permanently overseas: TRAVEL MORE and let people know there are a significant number of good and reasonable Americans out there.
I know, as if you needed a reason to travel - just hoping to make it an even higher priority, and get more people over to Oz!

We have a lovely futon for you to crash on.

As of February 21, Jen and I are in Niger for the next 2.5 years. I'm keeping it real as APCD/Environment. The EU repaired the road between Niamey and Ouaga last year, so I plan on driving to Tongo sometime soon, hopefully to watch the USA/Ghana football match in the first round of the World Cup.
