I got married in January so I'm now Erin Urbanic. John, my husband, and I spend our free time rock climbing and playing outside.
Our current project
We converted an old diesel mercedes to run on used vegetable oil. I think everyone should look into doing this!! It was fun to do and cheap/free fuel!
I miss
Listening to fufu pounding at night. Children staring in my windows. Market day. Being excited about a cold coke. DeeBa. Rice with pasta mixed in. And so much more.

I was married in October 2004 to a fellow PCV Guatemala, David Benham. We live in Santa Cruz and love it! Our son, Charlie, was born in August of 2005. I'm the science guide for the adolescent program at Santa Cruz Montessori School and it's way cool. Dave teaches history at a high school in Watsonville. We both miss being abroad and hope to take our son on some lovely adventure soon.

Well...you can all now call me Master. Finished my MPH in May, spent the summer applying for jobs and building a network of contacts in South Africa and am currently in Zambia working with PATH International's Malaria Control and Evaluation Partnership for Africa (MACEPA) on case studies exploring the links between malaria and worker productivity. Theo is working at a non-profit for adults with developmental disabilities and mental health patients. He is also beginning a career in acting and is currently in plays and film in Chicago. He also suffers from Cubs-Disease which is a strange disorder that leads one to believe that the Cubs will win the World Series each year and then the subsequent shock when they don't even make the playoffs.

just a little update- We moved to Oahu so that I could teach some high school and tracee could be even closer to the family. Noa is almost 3 and up to all kinds of fun (youtube Noa Dolejsi for evidence). All are welcome if in Hawaii. you may have to do some babysitting in exchange for the bed though.
