We just graduated from Emory University with our master's degrees (MBA and MPH). Eric just started working at Chevron in CA to work on their global strategy and to market biofuels. Katy was working as a Program Manager at Global Health Action, but recently quit to go to CA with Eric. We just bought a house and are excited about moving in.
We went back to Ghana last March 2007 and visited our villages. Accra was still buzzing from their 50th anniversary. The STC buses have gotten much worse. Lots of daily blackouts since the Volta is so low due to the drought. Also, now that the combined PCT training has been in Techiman for the past three years, we no longer hear "Obruni coco ma che" when walking down the streets. Kinda missed it though. Visiting all of our old friends was great and we have stared a small scholarship program for our village.

Did engineering work for a Japanese automotive supplier for the past year. When I told them I was quitting a few weeks ago, they told me I needed to stay because I would be president of the company one day. But, I want to be poor and drink all day, so I'm going to Bolivia. Got engaged to my Peace Corps sweetheart a few weeks ago and will be joining the woman for three months this summer to study ethnobotany while she works for a international development agency. Then we're both headed back to South Carolina where I'll start grad school and my princess will be finishing her iMBA.
